Sean Phelan joined Jensen Phelan Law Firm, P.C. in 2006 and became a partner in 2009. A well-respected attorney across Arizona, Sean advocates with compassion, understanding, drive, and decades of experience.
Sean focuses his practice in personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance cases. He earned Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in 2003 and graduated a member of the Cornelius Honor Society. He was an Associate Editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review. Sean is additionally certified in Mediation and Facilitation.
Sean successfully advocated before the Arizona Court of Appeals and Arizona Supreme Court for a student’s right to bring claims against school districts. Read the Arizona Supreme Court opinion here. He has also successfully co-counseled two cases before the Utah Supreme Court, protecting citizens’ rights to seek judicial intervention for claims against governmental entities.

Community ServiceSean is committed to giving back to the Arizona community. Sean’s volunteer activities range from coaching youth soccer to supporting local mountain bike races. Sean has coached mock trial at a local school for several years. He also volunteers his time to Community Legal Services by providing pro bono legal services within his practice areas to assist in repairing the lives of injured individuals and families in great need.
Sean is an avid mountain biker and hiker who enjoys all that Arizona’s beautiful nature has to offer.
